Showing the map and pointing out the proximity of the Bog People will only heighten anxieties on board Lori - but I suspect this is a good thing because no one goes through these waters without watching their back or the edges of the boat.
This map was in the captain's chart room but that damn bird of hers dragged it out on deck for everyone to see.

I am afraid the bird is a cruel taunt and torment Lori and could be a friend to the Bog People for all we know. Any bird that frequents bars with the likes of 'Sweet' Albert has been around and knows the 'ropes'.
Matilda is a mole for the Bog People? And Albert, being the innocent creature that he is was probably seduced into spilling all sorts of secrets....... Brilliant!
Very likely! A mole for the Bog People? Now I knew there was someone on board ship that we could not trust and a vain bird like Matilda, who loves to preen her feathers and buy accessories could be bought with a few bird seeds. Hmmm! Will watch her movements more carefully.
And that archipelago of islands out there holds many challenges. The Bog people, I fear, are the least of our worries. But don't tell anyone I said that now will you?
Yes, the Bog People have unknown allies in the archipelego, but the Captain is waiting until we are well likkered-up before she reveals this to us!
Captain Wilder? Likker people up? If she does this all sorts of truths may be revealed. The Bog People will begin to look really good if she becomes Wilder by name and Wilder by nature.
